Leave this number with your babysitter or children in case you need to be reached during the show, and make sure to let him/her know your seat location so ACT’s house manager can find you. You may also leave your cell phone with the house manager for emergency calls.

The ACT Greeter

ACT’s greeter is located in the Union Street lobby during shows, and will be happy to help you with any questions or special requests.

Coat Room, Restrooms and Courtesy Phones

The Allen Theatre coat room is on the 3rd floor, and the restrooms and courtesy phones (for local calls only) are on the 2nd floor. The handicapped accessible restroom is also on the 2nd floor, next to the elevator. The Falls Theatre coat room is on level A, and the restrooms and courtesy phones nearest the Falls are on level C. Please do not leave valuables with your coat, as ACT cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Running Times

A rough estimate of a show's running time will be posted on our site (on the play's web page) about a month before the show opens. The real running time will be posted about a day before Previews begin. Please check our site close to your ticket dates for the most accurate running time.

Late Seating

Due to the intimacy of our theatres, late seating is disruptive to both the audience and actors. If you arrive after the performance has begun, you can be seated by the house manager only if an appropriate interval has been approved by the artistic team. If late seating is not possible before intermission, you will be able to view the first part of the play from a monitor in the lobby. (This also applies if you need to leave your seat once the performance has begun.)

Cell Phones, Watch Alarms and Pagers

Please silence all cell phones, watch alarms and pagers prior to the performance.

Cameras and Recording Devices

The use of cameras and recording devices during the performance is strictly prohibited.

Audience Courtesy

As a courtesy to your fellow audience members, please avoid the excessive use of perfume or cologne before attending the theatre.
