Directions to Act and the Convention Center Garage
The most convenient parking is available in the Washington State Convention & Trade Center Garage with a secure indoor entrance to ACT.
From South via Interstate 5
Take I-5 northbound to exit 165 onto Seneca Street. Turn right onto 6th Avenue, then right onto Pike Street. Turn right onto 8th Avenue, then left into the Convention Center Garage.
From North via Interstate 5
Take I-5 southbound to exit 165B onto Union Street. Take a right onto 7th Avenue, then another right onto Pike Street. Turn right onto 8th Avenue, then left into the Convention Center Garage.
How to Park in the Convention Center Garage
The entrance to the parking garage is on 8th Avenue between Pike and Seneca. Turn into the garage and take a ticket. You can park anywhere. Once you have parked, note the aisle you are in, write it on your voucher and follow the painted walkways to the Convention Center. Inside the Convention Center, take the elevator or escalator to the first floor. Follow the signs to ACT’s entrance, located immediately behind the south escalator.
Subscriber Parking Discounts (Subscriber Benefit)
Evening subscribers can buy parking vouchers for the Convention Center Garage in advance for just $3 per show by calling the ACT ticket office at (206) 292-7676. Matinee subscribers can get a special discount coupon that allows them to buy parking for $5.50 on the day of the show. Just request the discount coupons from ACT by phone or in person.
Additional Parking Options
Parking is also available at many downtown locations, including:
- Convention Place Parking (enter on 7the Avenue between Union and Pike)
- 7th & Pike Parking (located above the Cheesecake Factory; enter on 7th Avenue between Pike and Pine)
- Union Square Parking (enter at the intersection of 7th and Union, opposite ACT)
- Pacific Place (enter on 6th Avenue, north of Pine Street)
Downtown parking generally costs between $6 and $10.
Lost or Forgotten Parking Passes (Subscriber Benefit)
Because the Convention Center requires ACT to prepay for the parking passes, we cannot replace lost parking passes. However, you may purchase new passes at the same low price. If you forget your parking pass at home, we will “loan” you a new one, which we ask that you replace with your forgotten pass. Matinee coupons are replaced for free.
Garage Restrictions for Vehicle Size
The Convention Center Garage can accommodate vehicles under 6’5”. Large vans and trailers are unable to enter the garage. For vehicles larger than this, we suggest parking at Pacific Place.
Parking for People with Disabilities
Parking for people with disabilities is available. Simply follow the signs in the Convention Center Garage.
Passenger Drop-Off Area
A passenger drop-off area is conveniently located just off the right lane of Convention Place (in the Convention Center underpass). The entrance to ACT is located through the doors of the Convention Center, next to the entrance to Moby’s Restaurant.
