Don't miss this special night with The Love Markets, celebrating the release of their new CD, Beauty Factory, with opening act, Two Horses Too Many!

Enter the world of your dreams and join the party as The Love Markets play their new album live, lighting up The Falls with trademark decadence and subversive wit and thumbing their collective noses at the machine of modern life. Employing slinky tangos, whiskey waltzes, and rollicking carnival grooves, The Love Markets prove once again that love and revolution can be found anywhere, from the passion of an amorous werewolf and bored housewife to the perils of romance and revenge aboard a sideshow caravan. Step into their musical boudoir for a night of revelry, and join the celebration!

The Love Markets were last seen at ACT in their packed-to-the-rafters show in 2015, and have appeared many times on the stages of the Bullitt, Falls, and Allen Theatres since 2010. Their 2013 album World of Your Dreams was described by Seattle Magazine as "Irresistible ...  Intoxicating theatricality ... A deliciously dark carnival." Beauty Factory is The Love Markets' second album.

Led by singer-songwriter-keyboardist Angie Louise, The Love Markets' gang of slip-clad musicians features Robertson Witmer on accordion, David Marriott Jr. on trombone, Dave Pascal on bass guitar, and Chris Monroe on drums. With deep roots in the Seattle arts community since the band's genesis in 2008, The Love Markets have performed at City Arts Fest, Seattle Art Museum, Seattle International Cabaret Festival, Town Hall, and ACT's Allen, Bullitt, and Falls Theatres; appeared as guest artists in concert with Seattle Men's Chorus, on Sandbox Radio, and on TV's ArtZone with Nancy Guppy; and entertained at galas for city treasures from Lifelong AIDS Alliance to Seattle Children's Theatre to 14/48 Theatre Festival and Freehold Theatre Lab. In 2013 the band released a critically acclaimed debut album, World Of Your Dreams, available at online retailers and on their website. "Ruffle-clad ruffians ... Uber-belter vocals ... Louise is an actress, singer and songwriter with fearsome chops." --City Arts
