14/48 is 14 plays created, written, designed, scored, rehearsed and performed in 48 hours. Each weekend, 7 playwrights write 7 plays on a randomly selected theme. 12 hours later, 7 directors each blindly select a play and the required number of actors to cast it. After 10 hours of fevered rehearsal with 7 designers and 7 musicians, the plays premiere that evening. After the show, another theme is chosen and the process starts all over again.
