Running time: 2 hours, with one intermission

Don't miss this special night with The Love Markets as Seattle’s acclaimed Weimar-inspired band returns to ACT and transforms The Bullitt Cabaret into the world of your dreams! Thrill to slinky tangos, intoxicating waltzes, and carnival grooves as The Love Markets deploy their lush sounds, soulful vision, and subversive wit to prove once again that love and revolution can be found anywhere.

Last seen at ACT in 2016 for the release of their album Beauty Factory, The Love Markets have appeared many times since 2010 on the stages of The Bullitt, Falls, and Allen Theatres. For this one-night-only show, the band unveils new songs and plays favorites from their two albums. "Irresistible ... Intoxicating ... A deliciously dark carnival." --Seattle Magazine "Achtung!!" --The Seattle Times

Led by singer-songwriter-keyboardist Angie Louise, The Love Markets' gang of slip-clad musicians features Robertson Witmer on accordion, David Marriott Jr. on trombone, Dave Pascal on bass guitar, and Chris Monroe on drums. With roots deep in the Seattle arts community since their genesis in 2008, The Love Markets have performed at City Arts Fest, Seattle Art Museum, ACT, Seattle International Cabaret Festival, Town Hall, and TV's ArtZone with Nancy Guppy; appeared as guest artists in concert with Seattle Men's Chorus, Burlesco Notturno, and Sandbox Radio; and entertained at galas for city treasures from Lifelong AIDS Alliance and the GSBA to Seattle Children's Theatre and 14/48. The Love Markets have released two critically acclaimed albums, World Of Your Dreams (2013) and Beauty Factory (2016). Both are available at online retailers and on the band's website.
