Running time: Two hours with one intermission

2013 Tony Award Best Play!

Siblings Vanya and Sonia live in the family home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. They have lived their entire lives on the family money, spending their days doing nothing but lamenting their rather Chekovian lot in life. When Masha, the third sibling (who is a movie star funding their lazy brand of hedonism) returns home with a beautiful albeit very, very young and dull boyfriend, life as Vanya and Sonia have known it is suddenly threatened. Inspired by the work of Anton Chekhov, Christopher Durang uses his play to comment on age, entitlement, social networking, and the accessibility of celebrity, never without the presence of overwhelming, ridiculous comedy.

Age Recommendation: 14+ for some adult language and sexual themes.
ACT's policy is to inform audiences of content, but to let parents, guardians, and teachers make decisions that they feel is most appropriate for youth and teens in their care.
