Join The Seagull Project at their next reading event in their Great Soul of Russia series on December 5th in the Bullitt Cabaret. Entitled "Exit Visas: Chekhov and the American Short Story," this reading will explore Chekhov's influence as a short story writer on other masters of the genre.Readings will include Chekhov's "The Student," Raymond Carver's "Cathedral," J.D. Salinger's "A Perfect Day for Bananafish," and Flannery O'Connor's "The Life You Save May Be Your Own."  

Featuring Sydney Andrews, Sami Detzer, C.T. Doesher, Esra Guler, Julie Jamison, Karl Keff, Alex Matthews, and David Quicksall.

This will be a fitting prelude to the six Great Soul of Russia events we will presenting in 2014, all leading up to the production of The Three Sisters
