The Apple Series Educator Program

Apple Series

The Apple Series is your opportunity to unwind, make connections, learn something new, and enjoy live theatre
 – all in one night!

Curious about what goes into creating one of our Mainstage productions? The Apple Series is your chance to educate yourself before you see the show! Get the inside scoop straight from the artists themselves. Past Apple Series guest speakers have included:

  • Lewis Black, playwright of One Slight Hitch
  • Kurt Beattie, ACT's Artistic Director
  • Bill Berry, Producing Director of The 5th Avenue Theatre; director of First Date
  • Margaret Layne, ACT's Artistic Associate & Casting Director
  • Geoffrey Alm, Fight Master; fight choreographer for Mary Stuart

In addition to the conversation with the guest artist, you will be able to enjoy complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres as you mingle with other educators. Just $120 will include your invitation to the pre-show discussion along with a ticket to each Wednesday preview in the Mainstage Season. The Apple Series is for current Washington state teachers and administrators, so pick your favorite colleagues or treat that deserving classroom teacher today!
