1994

In 1994, ACT and Seattle’s Housing Resource Group took title to the Eagles Auditorium.

The Eagles Auditorium, located downtown at the corner of 7th Avenue and Union Street, had been virtually unoccupied for more than a decade when ACT and the Housing Resource Group teamed up to renovate the landmark structure.

The Housing Resource Group, Seattle’s largest non-profit affordable housing developer and manager, now manages 44 apartments within the remodeled Kreielsheimer Place.

And ACT got a new home!

1995

By 1995, ACT had staged more than 190 contemporary plays at its Queen Anne location.

Contemporary playwrights whose work was performed at ACT include Lee Blessing, Ruby Dee, Steven Dietz, Mary Hanes, David Mamet, Jane Martin and Harold Pinter.
