Discount Ticket Options

ACT offers a wide array of discounts for its Mainstage productions. The following discounts do not apply to Central Heating Lab performances, A Christmas Carol, or Guest Productions. Discount policies are subject to change and may depend upon availability of tickets.

Pay-What-You-Can: Tickets to most Mainstage shows are now available for whatever price you can afford! (starting at 1:00 p.m. on the day of each show, in person only - for Mainstage plays only). First Date: A New Musical not included 

65 and Over
Seniors 65 and over may purchase 25% off tickets for any available performance in advance.
Half-price day of show tickets may be purchased over the phone or in person.

Student / 25 and Under
Full-time students may purchase $15 tickets to any available Mainstage production in advance. Anyone 25 years old or younger may purchase $20 tickets for any available Mainstage production in advance. Tickets are held at the Ticket Office until valid ID is presented for each discounted ticket.

Teen Tix
We offer Teen Tix members the discounted price of $5 per ticket for all Mainstage plays, and select other productions. On Sundays, you can purchase 2 tickets at the $5 rate with your Teen Tix card, on the day of the show and in person. If there is availability, you can purchase over the phone on the day of the show (service fees apply to phone orders). Please remember to bring in your Teen Tix card to verify your membership at Will Call. Wheelchair Accessible Seating
Patrons using wheelchairs may be eligible for reduced ticket prices for themselves and one companion. Tickets may be purchased by phone or in person.

  • Please note: in the event of sold out performances, accessible and companion seating may be released for sale to the general public one (1) hour prior to the beginning of each show.
  • We are currently updating our website to better serve patrons purchasing ADA accessible seats and will have that process completed in the near future. In the meantime, please call our Ticket Office at (206) 292-7676 (noon - 7pm, Tuesday through Sunday) for assistance.

TPS/TCG/SAG/Equity
All members of Theatre Puget Sound, Theatre Communications Group, SAG, and Actors Equity are eligible for $15 tickets on the day of the show over the phone or in person.

Ticket Exchanges

ACT Subscribing Members and ACTPass holders receive free, no hassle ticket exchange privileges that allow you to reschedule your tickets for another performance of the same show up to 24 hours in advance of your original date. There are several ways to exchange your tickets: online via the Members Only area, in person during ticket office hours; by e-mail to service@acttheatre.org; by fax at (206) 292-7670; or by phone at (206) 292-7676. Note: There is no fee for exchanging your tickets; however, if you reschedule into a higher-priced performance you will be asked to pay the difference.

Generally, non-member tickets are not exchangeable. In case of an exception, fees will be applied.

Free Replacement Tickets

If you lose your tickets or forget to bring them with you to the theatre, contact the ticket office (206) 292-7676 and we will gladly replace them.

Unused Tickets

If you are unable to use your tickets, please consider donating them to ACT by calling the ticket office before your scheduled show, (206) 292-7676. ACT Theatre cannot guarantee that ticket donations are tax deductable and does not produce tax receipts for these donations. Please consult with your tax professional if you plan on deducting a ticket donation.
